I am really excited to get working on this sloop. Waiting for some magnets and I will be able to really get into the building and painting of it. There will be some better pics of the build as I get started. I still have the miniatures to paint too.

Some upcomming WWII projects

The sIG 33 and LeIG 18 arrived a couple of days ago. Looking forward to work on them soon. I am also currently working on the winter greatcoat germans, should be done soon. There are also some SS infantry, wehrmacht grenadiers and blitzkrieg infantrywaiting to get painted.

Firelock Games miniatures

Some Pirates arrived today. Looking forward to work on these on a later date, have some other projects that needs to get done first. That said, these are wonderful historical miniatures and I am very happy with the quality. Some bent weapons, no big deal and easy to remedy. The warped bases(only two) were a bit harder to get right but just took a bit of patience. Looks like they will paint up beautifully. Hopefully there might be a ship arriving soon too.

SS Nebelwerfer and crew.

Another fun side project. SS Nebelwerfer and crew. Obviously some work left to do. Will probably base it on a cd sized base. Added soot to the front and back of the tubes. The crew will be painted in Oak leaf(Eichenlaubmuster), Pea dot(Erbsenmuster) and feldgrau.

Ruins by warlord Games, a lot of utility in this set. Fun project too. I have been trying to keep them as game pieces, ie not cluttering them up to much,

Nebelwerfer

A quick little side project arrived today. SS Nebelwerfer, Warlord games. 

I will add some camouflage to the nebelwerfer, gives me a chance to try out the Liquid mask from vallejo. The crew will be painted in feldgrau, oak leaf and maybe pea dot. The base is temporary while I figure out the positions of the crew.

Added the snow to the bases. Looks pretty good, learned alot from this project.

Progress on two projects

Have been some good progress lately.

The bases are going to be winter bases, currently working ont he camouflage. There will be a mix of Oak leaf and Pea dot. A fair number of the parkas will be white.

Next step is the camouflage, will be two disc, one ambush and one three colour.
