Normandie '44 Diorama
Here are a couple of pics of the Normandie '44 diorama I am working on. Been playing around with the placement of the miniatures. The tank is a knocked out Sherman V, still have to add some appropiate battle damage. Looking forward to work on the bocage too, might be a bit of a challenge.

Flocking started
Been experimenting with flocking today. The leaves are going to be darkened down a bit.

A bit of basing.
Basing done. Need to drybrush the bases but I will do that at a later point. In the case of the bigger bases I still need to add some base materials when the crew is being placed. I prefer to do all bases at the same time. The next step is to start painting.
The tanks and the Pak got their first layer of paint. Next step is some camo.

A bit of progress.
A quick update on today's progress.
Some cleaning up are still required mostly small stuff. Did some dry fitting too, I paint the minis separately. But it gives me a good idea what the base will look like and what I can add to spice it up.
Put all the plastic on their bases. Tomorrow I will start putting it all together.
Had some time left over to assemble the Stug III. I need to check my bits box and see if have any stowage to add.
Hopefully I will have more time tomorrow to continue assembling. Maybe even some priming and basing.

Examples of my basing process.
Basing is one of my favourite things to do. Especially crew served weapons, gives you an opportunity to work with a larger area.
| The start of the basing process. Fitting the pieces before painting and adding the base materials. |
| The basics done. Painting of the crew and weapons are done separately before adding them. |
